COVID 19 Update

Greetings St. Paul Family and Friends!

My prayers are with our congregation as we carry on in Hope, Faith and Joy. As many of you already know our President has invoked a Stay-at-Home order until April 30th making our return to church May 3rd.
During this time it is vital that we pray for the world and one another and continue reaching out to one another through the various technologies we have….phone, email, Facebook, Zoom, etc.

Here are a few ways to connect and help the church out this week.

Update RE: COVID 19

Dear St. Paul Family and Friends,

It has been a difficult decision for our Leadership Team to cancel worship services for two weeks. Know that not all of us think this is the best decision but we agree that in light of continuing closings of public gatherings this is the proactive measure of caring for the most vulnerable in our society.

We have initiated a phone check-in ministry. If you want to help or be on the list, please email or call Pastor Amanda.

We will have a daily online presence on Facebook and we will post a Sunday Worship Service through our website and Facebook that can be watched on Youtube.

This is the time that we need to unite as a congregation in reaching out and checking on one another. Please keep praying and connect with the neighbors who live next to you as a way of sharing Christ's Love!

Peace, Pastor Amanda

Response to COVID-19

Dear St. Paul Family and Friends,

The Leadership Team and Pastor Amanda wanted to connect with the congregation in light of COVID-19. We are still planning on having worship services as usual at this time. We ask that you take precautions in attending worship based on your health and vulnerability to illness. We understand that staying home might be the best decision for you and your family, however, please remember your commitments to God and this congregation by:

- Praying for the world and God’s healing.

- Please remember your church still needs your gracious support to continue to serve by doing ministry beyond this health crisis. Please send in your monetary tithes and offerings by mail or online giving if you are absent.

- Continue looking for ways to invite others to grow into a relationship with Christ.

If circumstances change, we will communicate through our E-mail Blast, Facebook and our website. If you know someone who does not utilize these communication tools, please connect with them and give them updates. As always, sermons will be available for online viewing on our website and our Facebook page.

Lent: A Time to Listen

Lent is a solemn religious observance in the Christian liturgical calendar that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends approximately six weeks later on Holy Thursday, the memorial of the Lord's supper the Thursday of Holy Week before Easter Sunday. During Lent, the beginning of worship will be a little different. We will start with a meditative Video that will set the mood in a QUIET TIME. It is hard to settle the wiggles and the jiggles in the children (and the adults) as the excitement of the Easter season is building, but that takes away from the Glory of Lent. Please help the children settle and be quiet the first 5 minutes of the service by showing them how to do so.
